People's Effort Advocating for Community Empowerment Sierra Leone (PEACE-SALONE) is a Local Non-Governmental Organization in Sierra Leone, that was established on 13 April 2014 by Sierra Leonean Aruna Kamara.
We are committed to contributing to national development through civic empowerment programs to promote greater and active participation in decision making and raising the voices of citizens in the democratic governance of Sierra Leone.
Our work is guided by global organizational strategies and Sierra Leone's Mid Term National Development Plan with specific thematic strategies aligned with national development priorities.
PEACE-SALONE exists to have a society with people that are well empowered with ideas or knowledge to make informed decision to improve their lives.
PEACE-SALONE exists to guard democracy, campaigner of peace, good governance and socio-economic development of Sierra Leone.
